Commercial business coach portraits

There’s a plethora of business coaches/mentors in the world today - it is a bit of a minefield if you are looking for specific expertise from someone who has proved themselves in their own industry and can relate to your business objectively and honestly. In other words, someone who doesn’t just talk the talk but can grasp the concept of your business with a concise vision of how to take things forward for you. Your crucial marketing budget has to be well spent and see a return, so choosing wisely as to who you trust with the future of your business is fundamental.

Kay Allen is Diverse Advice - a highly experienced business coach who I have worked with in the past, comes fully qualified. Previously an advisor to Downing Street to assess Responsible Business Practice as part of the Big Society Team. which culminated in the creation of the on line digital platform ‘Trading for Good’ which is now owned by BITC. She was also a founding director of Really Useful Stuff, an online marketplace for disabled people. She holds an OBE for her services to equality. Kay is passionate about engaging with businesses and actioning plans to ensure ethical and responsible practices.

Kay also understands the necessity to have visual representation within her own marketing and I’m always delighted to work with her to create a professional image. We both understand that having a strong business presence is important but also to invite the viewer in to see beyond the business - a presence which is both professional and approachable. So a relaxed environment, not overly suited and booted, and portraits that resonate with the approach of a modern business are key. These pictures were taken within Kays other passion, at the stable with her horses. I was happy to mix up the session with some of Kay on her own and then with her horses - and also of her husband Brian who was also in need of some new commercial portraits for his tax advisory business.
